My American friend (for years!!) Marty Angelo (real and giant disco era hero!!) recently sent me information that he had found an 'interesting' deejay and disco producer. I read, listened and to my horror I sensed/noticed another deejay who uses 'DISCO' for his career but is not real DISCO - oh no!! It's just pretending and adapting to the dance/disco style of the past, imitating the respectable music from years ago + shit techno BPM and making money on it, etc.

What is most irritating is that the Americans fell for it and gave him their esteemed 'Grammy' award. 'Grammy' quality and relevance – FALLING!!

In 1989, I was in the Californian house of Maurce White from Earth Wind and Fire and I was enchanted by his small room where he kept his Grammys on special cabinets and there were a lot of gold and platinum records hanging on the walls. How does it relate to the 'Grammy' awards today - I mean real disco music, musician, producer Maurice White - 'Grammy' - and this german kid who pretend disco music but same 'Grammy'? --- {GRAMMY vs. GRAMMY }

Already in the 1980s, I noticed that after the disco era of the 1970s, when the music business generated the greatest achievements, there was an era of its destruction. The record industry was huge then and died slowly - it took years for it to fall to the bottom where it is now, when the 'Grammy' is given to people like this 'DJ Piontek' (Polish family name but he is German).

It's hard!! – it is what it is but I am old (72) and real-classic-old-school-DISCO-deejay - disco historian and author of 4 books who never agree for and protest until my last days…
